The CMCF’s purpose is to raise money to perpetuate Cathy’s wish to Help Another Person.  Through the generosity of the family and friends of the Cathy Miller Cancer Fund, the fund has donated in excess of $750,000 towards the construction and operation of the Hope Lodge! 

In the Philadelphia area, we are blessed to have the best cancer treatment centers in the world in our own back yard.  Others are not so fortunate. It is for these people that the Hope Lodge was established.  

The AstraZeneca Hope Lodge significantly reduces the difficulty of traveling long distances and the prohibitive cost of lodging for those who live outside the Philadelphia area but still want the choice of being treated at one of our first class cancer centers.  

The Hope Lodge is a welcoming place, with a home like atmosphere, for the thousands of cancer patients and their caregivers who leave home each year to be treated at Philadelphia’s leading cancer institutions.  The facility has a total of 37 private suites, allowing up to 13,505 free nights of housing each year, with an average of 1,350 patients served annually.
